Download Dashtop

Dashtop is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux. The first release isn't out yet: these buttons become download links when it is. Join the waitlist to hear first.

Opening Dashtop for the first time

The first releases are not signed with an Apple or Microsoft developer certificate, so your operating system warns you the first time you open Dashtop. This is what to do.

macOS

The macOS app is ad-hoc signed. You allow it once.

  1. 1Try to open Dashtop. macOS blocks it the first time.
  2. 2Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.

After each update, macOS asks for your keychain password once for each source you have connected. An ad-hoc signature changes with every build, so macOS treats each update as a new app.

Windows

Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”.

  1. 1Choose More info.
  2. 2Choose Run anyway.

PCs with Smart App Control turned on block unsigned apps, and the first Dashtop builds are unsigned.

After you install

Dashtop's 14-day free trial starts the first time you open it, with no card and no account. Bought a license? Click the lock icon in the top bar, choose I have a key and paste the key. Lost the key?
